How we work it out
We pick the longest standard runner that fits your inside depth, then size the drawer box to suit.
- Actro YOU and Quadro V6 YOU: drawer inside width is the cabinet inside width less 42 mm, drawer length is the runner length less 10 mm, and the cabinet needs at least the runner length plus 3 mm inside depth.
- Ball-bearing side-mount runners: drawer outside width is the cabinet inside width less the clearance on both sides, and the drawer is the same length as the runner.
Concealed runner figures follow Hettich's installation instructions for timber drawers with 12 to 16 mm sides.
Before you cut
- Measure inside depth from the inside face of the front to the back panel, not the overall cabinet depth.
- Concealed runners need a notch and a bottom recess at the back of the drawer. Follow the installation sheet for the exact sizes.
- Cut a test drawer first if you are building a run of them.
